Privacy Policy
WhatsApp Growth Hub & AI Suite
This policy explains how Recovery Amped LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the WhatsApp Growth Hub & AI Suite Chrome extension (the "Extension") and visit whatsapp.ezagentic.ai. It covers the Extension's contact gathering, status capture, list management, outreach campaigns, reply tracking, and optional AI responder features.
At a glance: Extension records are stored locally in your Chrome profile. We do not operate a central database of your contacts or conversations. If you configure and enable AI responses, relevant message text, conversation context, business instructions, knowledge-base text, and links are sent directly to OpenAI using your API key. Enabled automation can send generated replies through your WhatsApp Web session.
We do not sell Extension user data, use it for advertising, or collect unrelated browsing history. Privacy questions: jkt@ezpipeline.com.
1. Information the Extension handles
The information processed depends on the features you use. It may concern you and other people whose information is visible in your signed-in WhatsApp Web session or included in files you choose to import.
- Contacts and groups: phone numbers, display names, formatted numbers, group names, group-administrator indicators, tags, and contact-list membership. Group capture reads information available in the WhatsApp Web page and its page attributes.
- Statuses and stories: visible contact names, phone numbers when available, captured status text, and capture timestamps.
- Personal communications: message text, recent incoming and outgoing conversation context, message identifiers, reply information, and conversation history used for response tracking, opt-out detection, and AI replies.
- Campaign and contact records: message templates, recipient lists, send progress, timestamps, reply and lead statuses, contact-to-agent assignments, and do-not-contact preferences.
- Information you provide: imported contacts, AI instructions, business and offer details, text extracted locally from selected training files, booking links, website links, lead-form links, and responder settings.
- Authentication information: the OpenAI API key you enter for optional AI features. The Extension uses your existing signed-in WhatsApp Web session; it does not ask you to provide a WhatsApp password.
- Operational information: workspace selection, interface preferences, campaign launch identifiers, and local activity, error, and diagnostic records.
The Extension is not designed to collect financial-account details, government identifiers, health information, precise location, or unrelated browsing history. Message text and imported content may nevertheless contain sensitive information you or your contacts include. Avoid importing or sending information that is unnecessary for the feature you are using.
2. How information is used
The Extension uses this information to gather and organise contacts, capture visible statuses, manage lists and campaigns, send configured outreach through WhatsApp Web, detect replies and requests to stop contact, track campaign progress, and provide optional AI follow-up. Local operational records help prevent duplicate processing and diagnose problems.
AI is optional. When configured and enabled, the AI responder processes incoming message text and recent conversation context with your chosen business instructions, knowledge-base text, and next-step links. It sends that content to OpenAI to generate a response. Names, phone numbers, or other personal information appearing in that content may be included. This processing occurs outside WhatsApp's messaging environment.
Automation: enabled campaigns and AI responders can send messages through your WhatsApp Web account without requiring you to approve every individual message. Review your settings and business instructions before enabling automation. Pause or stop the relevant campaign or responder to stop further automated activity.
You are responsible for having the necessary permission or other lawful basis to process other people's information, informing them when required, following group rules, and respecting opt-out requests. Group membership alone does not establish permission for unsolicited marketing.
3. Where information is stored and how it is protected
Contacts, statuses, campaigns, settings, knowledge-base text, opt-out records, and conversation context are stored in the Extension's local Chrome storage on your device. The Extension also uses browser local storage for interface preferences and as a fallback when Extension storage is unavailable. Personal and business workspaces use separate local storage keys.
The OpenAI API key is stored in local Extension settings and used by the background service worker to authenticate HTTPS requests to OpenAI. Local storage is not a separate encrypted vault. Protect your device, Chrome profile, API account, and exported files. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
The reviewed Extension does not upload a copy of your contact database or conversation records to Recovery Amped LLC servers and does not include an analytics or advertising SDK. We do not have remote access to records stored only in your browser. AI requests use HTTPS; outgoing WhatsApp messages are handled through WhatsApp Web.
5. Chrome Web Store Limited Use commitment
Recovery Amped LLC's use of information received through the Extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We limit use of Extension user data to providing or improving its disclosed contact-management, outreach, and follow-up functionality and necessary related operations. Transfers are limited to those needed for that functionality, legal compliance, protection against fraud or abuse, or a business transfer with explicit prior consent. We do not use Extension user data for advertising, data brokerage, creditworthiness decisions, lending, or training our own general-purpose AI models.
We do not permit our staff or contractors to read Extension user data unless you explicitly consent to access specific information for support, it is necessary for security or legal compliance, or the information is aggregated and anonymised for permitted internal operations. These restrictions also apply to scraped information and data derived from it.
6. Retention and deletion
Local Extension records generally remain until you delete them, remove the Extension, or clear the relevant browser data. The current implementation keeps up to ten stored conversation turns per contact, up to 5,000 processed-reply identifiers, and up to 100 claimed campaign-launch identifiers. These limits do not constitute automatic time-based deletion of all records.
- Use dashboard controls to delete contacts, lists, captured statuses, campaigns, or AI responders. Save a blank API-key field to remove the saved key for the selected workspace. Repeat relevant actions in each workspace.
- Deleting a list or campaign does not necessarily remove associated conversation context, lead statuses, opt-out records, or other local metadata. For a complete removal of the Extension's Chrome storage, remove the Extension from Chrome. Clear WhatsApp Web site data separately if you also want to remove page-local preferences or fallback data; doing so may sign you out of WhatsApp Web.
- Delete exported files and backups separately from your downloads, device backups, or any service to which you uploaded them.
- Removing local data does not delete messages already delivered through WhatsApp or records already processed by OpenAI. Use those providers' account controls or contact them for their deletion options. Revoke your API key in your OpenAI account if you want to invalidate it.
Opt-out records are retained locally to help prevent renewed contact. Removing them may remove that safeguard. Support messages we receive are retained as needed to handle the request and applicable legal or security obligations; you can request deletion at the contact below.
7. Browser permissions
The current Extension requests:
- Storage and unlimitedStorage: save local contacts, campaign records, responder knowledge, settings, and related data without the normal Extension storage quota.
- Tabs: find, open, and coordinate WhatsApp Web tabs and the Extension dashboard. Tab access is not used to build a browsing-history profile.
- Scripting and access to web.whatsapp.com: run the Extension's interface and contact, status, campaign, and reply features on WhatsApp Web pages.
- Access to api.openai.com: make the optional authenticated AI requests described above.
You can disable or remove the Extension using Chrome's Extensions settings. Restricting required site access may prevent associated features from working.
8. Website visits and support
This privacy page does not use analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or a contact-data upload form. Visiting the website necessarily shares ordinary connection information, including IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time, with its hosting infrastructure. Infrastructure logging and retention are subject to the relevant provider's service settings and policies.
If you email support, we receive your email address, message, and attachments. Please do not send passwords, API keys, full contact lists, or private chat transcripts. If troubleshooting requires personal information, share only the minimum necessary and obtain any required permission from the people concerned.
9. Your choices and privacy requests
You choose which contacts or files to import, which groups or statuses to capture, when to run outreach, whether to configure AI, and when to pause or stop automation. You may use contact-management features without configuring an OpenAI API key.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, obtain a portable copy, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact us to make a request about information we hold. We may request proportionate verification of your identity. We cannot remotely retrieve or erase information stored only in your browser; we can explain how to remove it.
If another Extension user contacted you, ask that sender to stop contact or delete information they hold. You can also use WhatsApp's blocking and reporting tools. Tell us about suspected misuse at the address below without sending unnecessary private messages or contact lists. Where applicable, you may complain to your local data-protection authority.
Third-party infrastructure and AI providers may process information in countries other than your own under their respective terms and safeguards.
10. Children
The Extension is intended for adults using business tools. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information through support or the website. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information to us.
11. Changes to this policy
We will update this page and its last-updated date when our practices change. Material changes to Extension data handling will also be prominently disclosed through the Extension or its store listing, with additional consent obtained where required before the changed processing begins.
